Twine is an exciting place to be right now.

We’re more focused on the features that actually matter to our users, doubling down on those and integrating with the tools that we know fast growing companies rely on. Spring has been a bumper month for product development, so here’s a roundup of what’s new.

Loads of integrations

Twine ↔️ Zapier

We’ve teamed up with the amazing Zapier to integrate with over 1500 other tools. We don’t expect people to be hanging around on Twine waiting for your next updates, so we’ve hooked our notification up to be able to push out to any app in the Zapier library. So, if work is done on Slack, Hangouts, Yammer or whatever else your people use, you can push personalised Twine notifications  there.

And with Zapier, that means that you can now push notifications from Twine to Slack. That means personalised notifications are fed directly to users from our ‘Twine Bot’, just like below. Learn more about how to connect Twine to Zapier with our support article.

You can now link to your Dropbox files from Twine, be it in the Knowledge Base or attaching to a post. This is a great addition if you want to manage files on Dropbox but also feature some on Twine. Get in touch with us if you’d like this turned on for your Twine account.

Design refresh

And the big news is that we’ve given Twine a haircut by trimming down the header that’s on every page. This will free up valuable screen space for those on smaller monitors and mobiles, giving more room for the important stuff (your content).

This also gives us room to add breadcrumbs to every page. That way, you’ll always know where you are and be able to navigate back quickly. Here’s an example:

We’ll gradually be updating other parts of the system to fit into this new aesthetic which will make for a fresh, clean design. Here’s what Knowledge posts will look like when we’re done:

Coming soon: Team Pages

Current clients know about the details of this – outsiders, we’re going to have to keep you in the dark a little longer I’m afraid. It’s going to be a massive improvement on our Groups offering, and is going to make Twine easier to segment and way more flexible. Stay tuned 😎

As always, we’d love to hear your thoughts on these ideas – just send them over to support@twineapp.com or to @tweetsbytwine.
